IDAHO FALLS — The trial of an Idaho Falls man accused of first-degree murder has been continued.
Antonio M. Bautista was supposed to face trial early next month, but the hearing has been postponed until April at the defense’s request, said Daniel Clark, Bonneville County’s chief deputy prosecuting attorney.
Bautista was charged with the felony for his alleged role in the death of 16-month-old Esmiie Quezada, who was found unresponsive at a residence in Shelley in December of 2012. She was transported to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, where she later died.
