BLACKFOOT — A 59-year-old man is facing a felony and a misdemeanor charge after he allegedly stole a purse containing cash from a vehicle.
Carlos Gonzales is facing a felony burglary charge as well as a misdemeanor for resisting officers, according to court records.
Bingham County Sheriff Craig T. Rowland said they believe Gonzales stole a purse from a parked vehicle around noon on Thursday. There was no forced entry, Rowland said, adding that the items taken were valued at about $500.
Gozales allegedly fled when officers approached him.
